Manners and Respect cost nothing
Recently I got chatting to someone on here who is currently
living in another country. We appeared to get on like a house
on fire and so the texts emails faxes and calls all mounted
up. Things appeared to be going very well and we made an arrangement
to meet the next time he was due to come over to the UK. He appeared
to be an honest kind genuine person and against my better
judgement I fell for him. Suddenly he had to go away for a
few days and silence. It is now over 2 weeks since we had a
proper conversation. I recieved a couple of texts saying
he was having a tough time and that it was nothing I had done
not to worry he just needed to get his head together. Fine
so I left it for a while. Sent the occasional jokey email
and text and had nothing in reply. And this from the man who
explained that if he heard nothing from a partner for several
hours he would become paranoid and sit by the phone. All
through my contact with this person I have been truly myself
and 100% honest as I have no energy for time wasters. Still
silence finally yesterday I emailed him a jokey email telling
how I felt and outlining the various reasons I had thought
of which might explain his silence. My only request was
that he respond and give me the courtsey of explaining his
actions or rather the lack of them. Still silence though
he has been on Adult FriendFinder. All I wanted was an answer so I can move
on. Can anyone enlighten me as to why manners and respect
are so lacking on this site? We all have feelings and we all
hurt.
