Profiles and replies...
Hey all,
I'd like to discuss how we write our profiles.
it's my experience that many do not say what they mean.
When I see a tag of "Come fuck me" for instance,
if it's written by a male...chances are, that is exactly
what he means. But if written by a female...she means...come
fuck me...but first...you have to be nice...sincere...
charming...humourous...knows how to treat a lady...faithful...etc..
Even better if you are my soulmate. ?!?!?
Ok...we all know that men and women think differently but
isn't this a mismatch of expectatiions??
I'm not women bashing...I understand what you girls
want and how you want it...but...wouldn't it be easier
not to use those words when you don't really mean it
the way they appear?? Another thing...if you do write down
that you want a guy who is nice...sincere... charming...humourous...knows
how to treat a lady...faithful...etc. Do you really think
any man would stop and think...uh oh...I'm not that
nice...or I'm not very sincere...or I'm not charming
at all, so I better not write to her????? Therefore, it's
not fair to then write in your profile that you've received
emails from arseholes...those arsehole truly think they're
nice..sincere...charming..(etc) guys!!
On the flip side...I see many many guys put up pics of a dick
(may or may not be his...) when almost all the girls I've
spoken with prefer to see a face...why is that??
Perhaps, we should all take a short course on marketing
before penning our profiles...it is exactly what we're
trying to do....market ourselves. But the guys seem to
forget the principal logic in marketing...cater to the
target receivers....while the ladies are putting up false
advertisings.
Can the ladies share here what they would like to see/read
and be interested in so the guys can learn how to modify our
profiles to make them more attractive?? And can the guys
share their feelings on girls who don't mean what they
write, so the ladies can see that they should tone down their
profiles to make them realsitic?
Another thing I like to get off my chest is issue of poor respond
that most people face. Seems most guys I talk to send out
many winks and emails but don't hear anything back.
I understand some girls get hundreds of winks/emails and
it's hard to reply to all. I wonder if we can suggest
to Adult FriendFinder that they put in place a bin where if the wink/email
is put into after being seen by the receiver, a reply comes
back informing the sender that his wink/email was indeed
received but the receiver is not interested. At least the
poor sender doesn't have to wonder if the whole wink/email
thingy is a hoax. Personally, I get a few winks/emails a
week and I always write back to all...even if I'm not
interested....but I agree that it'll be difficult
if it's >100 a day. So it's up to the site to come
up with a workable plan. Anyone has any ideas??
