What is love? I haven't a clue
Is it this feeling I feel, when I think of you?
Then to cry? When you are sad
Or be of anger, if you are mad
Rather I would, hold you in my arms
'til you feel safe, free of harm
What is love? I really don't know
Its dagger is deep, were scars don't show
Love isn't a possession, a trophy to be had
But rather a gift, anything less is sad
Is it Respect? To try and help--not to harm
I have learned of many, who lack this charm
What is Love? Is it for Real?
Sweet visions of you, Enchanting Appeal
Symptoms of Love? Lost and Confused?
Then I am in love, are you yet amused?
