Nice guys - what are our chances with women?

I'm what one would consider a nice guy. Women love to be
my friend, I make a GREAT friend. They come to me with
their relationship/seeking-a-relationship problems, and
I help them where I can. The problem is, obviously, none
of them want MY BODY. they want the bodies of guys who
are "not-so-nice" and often downright "assholes".

Do I have to become an "asshole" just to get laid, let
alone find a woman to have a relationship with?

Or do I keep masturbating while I'm waiting for that
"perfect" lady to come along, perfect in this case simply

I don't want to be anybody but who I am, women detect
dishonesty right away -- it turns most of them off; it
turns me off!

So, as the question reads, what chance does a nice guy
have?

What do I have to do to be myself and still get laid
occasionally, like, once a year even?

Twice a year would probably give me a heart attack...
