Getting Over Her...
My girlfriend and I broke up a while back, or more correctly
she broke up with me. The reason was that I'm studying
abroad in a different country. She said that it was just
too far and too hard, but this was only a month after I'd
left. Anyway, I was devastated at first but with time I got
over. Although my feelings for her have faded somewhat
I still think about getting back together some day. Is that
crazy? Is it weird to want to be with your ex? I should mention
that she was my first girlfriend so she probably means a
little bit more to me.
I'd also appreciate any help on how to stay friends
with your ex? Because everytime I see her there's an
ache in my heart about what we had and what could have been.
I'm fine when I don't see her and we can talk on the
phone and email. But when I see her face again, it just knocks
the wind out of me. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions.
