Etiquette????
Why is it when it comes to mail all manners seem to go out the
window??
Most of us (men) will know what I'm on about straight
away:
You read a profile send off a message and then.......nothing.
You chance a second message, still nothing.
Now my first question to you all is if you're walking
down the street and someone asks you a question do you:
A): Ignore Them
B): Listen Then Walk Off
C): Answer Them
D): Listen, Walk Down The Street Then Answer
Now if you answered A or B you're not the type of person
I'd want to talk to in the first place.
If you answered C well done you have manners and could manage
a conversation, even if you're reply wasn't what
the person asking wanted to hear...but hey that's
life.
D is the hard one, exactly how long is an acceptable time
to be left waiting for an answer?
I don't know but to me a week or so after the message should
be doable even if its just I've too many messages at
the moment get back to me in a fortnight, or I'll get
back to you
Sorry if this is long winded, actually I know it is, but it's
something that I feel has to be said for all to hear.
All thoughts on this are much appreciated.....
