Divorce at 50 after 20 yrs
I've read 20 pages of this stuff, and here's one
for you.
After 20 yrs together, married for 16yrs, my wife says
she is moving out and needs her space.Guys if they say this, you'd
better try right there and then to save the relationship
cause it's the boat is starting to sail, and without
you! Our marraige was having some problems, communication
mostly. I was going through some tough shit at the time and
was reclusive and not paying attention to her needs.Long
story short, she started talking to a guy at her work and
the next thing I know she's gone, lying, cheating, doing
things she would never do.She milked me for as much money
as she could before telling me the good news, she was seeing
someone.Now is when it gets interesting, this guy abandoned
hie wife and three small childern to be with my wife.I couldn't
understand why she would not try couseling, or anything
to try and save our marraige, well now I know.Everyone
says this wouldn't last, but that does not make it
hurt any less.Couple all the above with our 12yr old daughter
and it's a big cluster ----. Why don't people tell
their partners if they are not getting what they want and
need.And she has been real hurtful about it all.She has
basically trashed our 20yr relationship.Now I'm
50yrs old have a hard damn job(logger, tree cutter), I'm
worn out and on my down hill side of life, she is 10yrs younger
has lost 85 lbs is looking good, and I guess, thinks she
can do better.Well thats it in a nut shell.Last but not least, men
and women, trust what your gut tells you, it's right
90% of the time.Remember, treat others like you want to
be treated.
