Join a Dynamic Group

When I joined my first group I wrote a small article, the
content of which, was of such insignificance I have forgotten
what I actually wrote about. It was more or less just an introductory
attempt to solicit some remarks and to let the rest of the
group know that I was there. The article briefly appeared
then disappeared. I am not sure if it was monitored out or
if it was just one of those things, so I am not trying to lay
blame.

However, I felt that I was not welcome. I was not thanked
for joining that particular group in preference to any
other, and during the time I stayed with the group I might
just as well have stayed on my own. There seemed to be no direction
so I opted out and formed the "Over Fifties."
and "Fraser Coast Over Fifties"

Usually when a new member arrives at a club, a job, or a group,
the members within the organization will greet the new
arrival and make him/her feel welcome. At the very least,
the person in charge will take on that responsibility.
For that reason it is my intention to make everyone who joins
this group feel welcome, and want to become an important
part of the whole. Every member will be encouraged to submit
a topic for discussion, and to comment on other topics as
well as interacting with each other, not necessarily on
an intimate basis, although that will definitely not be
discouraged. People can form platonic friendships, and
who knows where that might lead?

So, if you would like to be part of a Dynamic Group, take a
look at these two new groups.
