okay, so my rant has to do with women, and how they say they
don't want to be pursued, they don't want the man
to be aggressive and such, (and here, we're talking
about modern, feministic women who think they are powerful,
confident) and yet, every time, they quake and tremble
at a man who takes charge. I feel some sympathy for these
women, as they are truly caught in a double bind. Their beliefs
teach them that should not let the man take charge and seduce
them, but their natural instinct is to succumb to the lecherous
man, and give in, which is what they're really comfortable
doing, let's face it, when in a romantic pursuit type
non-threatening situation. they want to give in, want
to feel as though it is the passion that is overtaking them,
they are caught up and such, and then they're happy,
until they realize that this is the same sort of thing that
has been happening for centuries, and modern woman is no
different, then they feel as though they have betrayed
their feminine foremothers of femininism, and the man
is, in the end, berated for his wanting only one thing, etc,
etc, which we've heard before, and aren't buying
it anymore, thankyou very much.
